"Christmas comes but once a year . . . :" fortunately, however, the years keep on coming! It is still one of the family's favorite times of the year!
On the left, our Christmas tree in 2004, decorated as ever by Marie-Hélène, with a little help from the local elves. ![]() On the right, the presents and the tree on Christmas morning 2007. This is the part that the parents like the best, preparing for the children! Below, Alex with a Christmas present in 2002 that he just picked out from under the tree. Whoever is there picks out his or her presents in order of increasing age, meaning that Alex goes first. Which suits him just fine!
Tom was not with us for Christmas 2002. He and Nick spent the Holidays with their mom in Paris. But when they returned, their presents were still waiting below the tree. As you can see from Tom's expression below, the delay is not a problem!
Daphné and Alban spent Christmas 2004 with their dad outside Paris. They have six brothers and sisters in France, all on their father's side of the family. Below is Daphné holding her sister Lou in her arms in front of the Christmas tree. ![]() Needless to say, Alex and Charlie always spend Christmas with the parents. It remains a magic time of year for them. Below right is one of Charlie and his dad in 2005.
Below is a photo that links Christmas with one of the family's principal preoccupations: soccer. At Christmas 2004, many of the presents requested in letters to Santa from both Charles and Alex were soccer-related. ![]()
We are fans of decoration, as well as of Christmas. On the left above is one small detail of our living room at home dressed for Christmas. The Christmas tree can be seen reflected in the mirror. Disney also has superb decor. Here are other photos of our home. |
